CERTIFIED TRANSFORMATIONAL CHRISTIAN LIFE COACH

CARAN JANTZEN, ACTC, ACC

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I’m Caran, a mom of four teens and tweens, and a wife and partner to my supportive husband Nathan. We live on a five acre hobby farm in southwestern BC, Canada. During my down time, I can be found cuddling my cat Nugget while reading, cooking and serving up homegrown food to loved ones, diving into meaningful conversations with friends, and adventuring with my family.

Along with being a Christian life coach, I am also a published author and an inspirational speaker and teacher. I share personal stories of healing and transformation as well as teaching about listening prayer and practicing God’s presence. My background is in ESL instruction and curriculum development, and I enjoy drawing on this training as I prepare handouts and worksheets for my clients.

My Mental Health Journey

I’ve wrestled with Generalized Anxiety Disorder most of my adult life, and have walked the deep valleys of depression. In April 2020, during a conversation with God, He invited me to ask for healing, and He instantly and completely healed me of my mental illness. Through it all—darkness and light—the Lord has been my compass, my anchor, my rock. Click here to read more of my story.

My Passion For Helping

I have a passion for helping Christian women encounter the Living God in a powerful way: by experiencing spiritual freedom and joy through a deepening relationship with Him. I draw on the principles of coaching, spiritual direction and prayer counseling, while exercising empathy, deep listening and Holy Spirit led intuition to guide my clients. I have worked with many women, leading them to deep and lasting transformation.

As we partner together, my clients make the internal shifts necessary to come into a new way of being—working from peace and rest, not for it; working from relationship with the Lord, not for it. Through this transformation, this renewing of their minds by the power of the Holy Spirit, they are empowered to confidently and joyfully live out their God-given purpose by authentically expressing their gifts, talents and passions.

My Faith Journey

One of my life verses is a prophetic passage found in Isaiah 61, and spoken and fulfilled by Jesus in Luke 4:18-19. “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

I took great comfort in these verses in times of personal despair, knowing that Jesus continually speaks His freedom and healing over me; now, I celebrate that the Lord has called me to partner with Him in this way: proclaiming God’s truth, freedom, healing and favor over the women I work with.
